Sean's "Evening Under the Stars" Page
The Michael Hoefflin Foundation has been a tremendous source
of support for us as we deal with Sean's illness. Chris and Sue showed up at
UCLA just a day or two after Sean's surgery and haven't left our side
since. They offer all kinds of resources for families with childrern
suffering from Cancer. Their own son passed away after a lengthy battle
with cancer, and they have dedicated themselves to helping other families in
any way they can. The "Evening Under the Stars " event was the
Foundations annual fundraiser. They had a great turnout, over 1000 people I
think, and auctioned off everything imagineable. The dinner was nice and they
had "Starship" (as in Jefferson Starship without the Jefferson) as the live
entertainment. Unfortunately, Sean got tired and we left before the music, but
I'm sure it was great. All procedes from the event go towards fighting Cancer.
Here are the pictures we took. Mostly of Sean (of course!). During the
event Sean was taken up on stage and presented with a trophy for being a "Hero"
to the Foundation.
